Our Rules
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
Please Note: You can only vote once per your computer IP per day. That means no matter how many times you do it after it will not count for a given day. Even though sometimes the counter is counting up - we do have additional mechanism in place to check it at the end of contest. So it can cost you valuable votes. Be fair towards your competition!
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
ENTRY: Complete the registration form and follow the instructions to upload photo of your child or yourself depending on the contest. Photos must be taken by non-professional person, unpublished and may not have won any prize or award. Photos must be .jpeg, .gif or .png image formats and cannot exceed 3 MB.
Photos must not contain material that violates or infringes the rights of another, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement. Photos must not contain brand names or trademarks. By entering, you represent and warrant that your entry does not violate or infringe the rights of another, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, and that no part of your entry materials constitutes copyright infringement.
We reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to reject, disqualify, modify, edit and revise any entries, subjects, photos, or related materials that we deem, in its sole discretion, to be nude, obscene, defamatory, profane, offensive, lewd, pornographic, false, misleading, deceptive, or otherwise inconsistent with its editorial standards, audience expectations, or reputational interests or that we believe may violate any applicable law or regulation or the rights of any third party. We reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to verify any element of any entry or related materials and to disqualify any entrant whose participation may subject the contest, Baby Lifetime, or Baby Lifetime’s advertisers, clients, or customers to controversy, negative publicity, scorn, or ridicule.
LIMIT: One entry per household per eligible child per day. For entries of more than one eligible child in the household, the entry process must be completed separately for each child. No group entries.
ELIGIBILITY: Legal residents of the 50 United States, District of Columbia, and Canada, 18 years of age or older, who are the parent or legal guardian of the child depicted in the entry are eligible to enter, except employees of Sponsor and any other organizations affiliated with the sponsorship, fulfillment, administration, prize support, advertisement or promotion of the Contest and their respective agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and members of their immediate families or persons residing at the same address.
WINNER SELECTION:
There will be two (2) winners selected as follows:
During the voting periods specified below, entries will be displayed in the Contest gallery, and visitors to the site will be invited to vote for their favorite entry based on overall appearance of the child as shown in the photo(s), adherence to theme as expressed through the photo(s), and quality of photo(s). One vote counts as 10 points and one view of photo counts as 1 vote.
For each voting period, one (1) winner will be determined by highest number of votes received. In the event of a tie, a qualified panel of judges will determine the winner from among the tied entries based on photogenic appeal of the child. Voting results are unofficial until verified by Baby Lifetime.
Voting Periods: For all contest entries voting begins on day determined by Baby Lifetime staff and ends the last day of the month PST. Babies will be included in the active gallery all the way until the 10th of the month. No contestants are added from 10th of the month until the end of the month. Entries submitted in that time will be added for next month if selected.
PRIZES: The two (2) winners will each receive a check for $150.00.
We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if prize (or a portion thereof) cannot be awarded as described. We will determine all elements of prizing in its sole discretion. Prizes may not be assigned, transferred, changed or redeemed for cash, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Prizes are awarded 'as is' with no warranty or guarantee express or implied. Sponsor disclaims all and any liability for the actual provision, quality or nature of any third party product or service accepted by the winners. The awarding of any prize is contingent upon full compliance with these Official Rules. Entrants agree to be bound by Official Rules and agree that if any winner fails to provide proof of identity, refuses to provide required affidavit, is found to have violated Official Rules or otherwise does not meet eligibility criteria, prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Entrants understand that Sponsor is not liable for injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from participation in this promotion and acceptance, possession and use of prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prize. Decisions of Baby Lifetime are final and binding in all respects.
PRIVACY: Registration at Baby Lifetime website (babylifetime.com) is required to enter the Contest. When you register, we collect personally identifying information about you, including your name, mailing address, and email address. By entering and providing the required registration information, you acknowledge that we may send you information, samples, or special offers it believes may be of interest to you about its publications or other complementary goods offered by us.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION: Except where prohibited, by participating Contest entrants agree that: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participant(s) and Sponsor and its agents shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the State California without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law of any jurisdiction. Entrant agrees that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to this Contest, or awarding of the prizes, shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in the State of California and entrant hereby consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action. Except where prohibited, by participating in this Contest, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or awarding of the prizes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this Contest but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will any participant be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitations or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.
OTHER: Baby Lifetime assumes no responsibility for entries or votes it is unable to process due to network, hardware or other technical failures; or any other reason, or incomplete, damaged, misdirected, or lost entries or votes. Baby Lifetime reserves the right, in its sole discretion to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the voting process, the operation of the web site or otherwise in violation of these Official Rules. Sponsor further reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or modify this promotion if not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, technical corruption, non-authorized human intervention, force majeure or any other causes beyond the control of the Baby Lifetime which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or integrity of the contest. In the event of cancellation, Baby Lifetime reserves the right to select winners from among all eligible entries received prior to date of cancellation. The use of automated entry systems or any other conduct that impedes the integrity of the contest is prohibited. In the event of a dispute regarding online entry, entry will be deemed made by the holder of an established e-mail account associated with the entry.
RELEASES: By participating in this contest and accepting any prize that they may win, entrants agree to release Baby Lifetime, its parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the 'Released Parties') from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this contest and/or acceptance or use of the prize. Entrants authorize the Released Parties to use their name, voice, likeness, biographical data, city and state of residence and entry materials in promotional material and for advertising, public relations and editorial purposes in any media, worldwide, in perpetuity, or on a winners' list, if applicable, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Baby Lifetime is not obligated to use any of the above-mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Baby Lifetime’s sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation. Except where prohibited by law, winners will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Ownership/Liability Release, Publicity Release and W9 form within ten (10) days of notification or the entry with the next highest score may become an alternate winner. If winner notification is returned as undeliverable, the entry with the next highest score may become an alternate winner. Subject to all U. S. federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. Taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. The winners' names will be posted on www.babylifetime.com.

Please, no hipster shots nor any other unrelated content. This is a baby related contest only and your submission will not get approved if you don't follow rules.
Respect originality and creativity. Focus on what the contest is about and submit accordingly.
Think of a descriptive or creative title, instead of Joe, My friend, etc.
Search for duplicate photographs before posting. Duplicate posts will be removed.
Do as much promotion as you can on twitter, facebook, google+, your blog and other social media to get more votes! Involve all of your friends.
Absolutely No blogspam. You will be forever removed from the site and banned.

Acknowledge that you have the right to use the photo or that it is your photo at the end of submission. All submissions will be removed if not marked as such.
